Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Coordinator acts as a liaison throughout the production process to ensure compliance to all respective codes, company policies, and quality of the product(s)
Duties / Responsibilities:
Identifying service issues within the facilityAnalyzing root causes of service issuesRecommending improvements / corrections to mitigate future service issuesMaintain current master copy of all documents including supplier data, supplier audit reports, DAPIA, ECR's, record of changes, CEF forms, etc.
QA Administration
Qualifications:
High school diploma / GED or equivalent experience requiredConstruction industry experience preferredAbility to read and interpret architectural / engineering drawings and specificationsAbility to take a proactive approach to qualityWorking knowledge of facility machines, tools, and equipmentAbility to track and report on quality issuesAbility to communicate efficiently and effectively with all team members at all levels within the facilitySolid understanding of construction trades and quality practices, codes, regulations, etc
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Work may require stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, and / or pulling.
Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
Work environment is not temperature controlled and may result in exposure to extreme temperatures.
Work primarily involves sitting / standing, up to 4 hours at a time.
