- Perform all diagnostic, interventional, and neuro-interventional procedures.
- Assist physician with diagnostic angiographic procedures, as well as complex vascular and nonvascular interventional, therapeutic, and neuro interventional procedures while maintaining a sterile field.
- Prepare and position patient prior to procedure and remains at bedside throughout the procedure.
- Report changes in the patient's condition to appropriate personnel for follow-up.
- Provide education to patient and family regarding procedure. Transports patients as needed.
- Administer contrast media per established medication review protocols.
- Document procedural related information, perform radiographic image post-processing, and input procedural charges.
- Perform related duties such as cleaning work area, replenishing supplies, assisting others, and reporting equipment malfunctions.
- May perform moderate or waived point of care testing per CLIA guidelines.
- Radiology Tech-Registered credentials
- An Associate Degree
- 1-2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology technologist preferred
- Demonstration of standards of performance (ownership, teamwork, communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence
- Possess commensurate combination of education, experience and qualifications.
