Salary:
$70, ,000/year
This position allows for 1-2 days per week remote after on boarding.
The Entry-Level Electrical Engineer will work under the guidance of
senior engineers and project managers to assist in designing, planning,
and implementing electrical wiring systems for various facilities. This
is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career
professional to gain hands-on experience in electrical engineering and
develop expertise in facility wiring and Revit modeling.
Responsibilities
Assist senior engineers in designing electrical wiring systems for facilities, including power distribution, lighting, controls, and communication systems, using Revit and other engineering software.
Support the preparation of electrical drawings, plans, and specifications in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and project requirements.
Collaborate with project teams, architects, and contractors to integrate electrical systems into overall building designs and infrastructure projects.Participate in site surveys, inspections, and field investigations to assist in assessing existing electrical systems and identifying potential issues.
Assist in reviewing electrical submittals, shop drawings, and construction documents for compliance with design specifications and codes.
Learn and apply project management principles, including scheduling, coordination, and documentation of engineering deliverables.
Support electrical system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities under the guidance of senior engineers.
Stay updated with industry standards, best practices, and technological advancements in electrical engineering and building codes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited university.
Basic knowledge or coursework in electrical engineering principles, including electrical circuits, power systems, and wiring design.
Familiarity with Revit software or other CAD tools for engineering design and modeling.
Interest in learning and applying the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant codes and standards.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
$70,000 - $85,000 a year
