- Adheres to professional best practices and departmental guidelines related to the delivery of clinical mental health services.
- Maintains confidentiality and FERPA compliance.
- Responds to 974-HELP referrals and requests for clinical services.
- Participates in campus tabling, and presentations such as QPR suicide prevention, mental health first-aid, and stress management.
- Participates in professional development activities and those necessary to maintain credentials/license.
- Serves on campus committees as negotiated.
- Provides direct clinical services to students. Clinical work is centered around triage, assessment, clinical interventions, and appropriate connection to level of care e.g., medication services, treatment.
- Opens cases, coordinates campus and community resources, facilitates access to treatment including coordination of coordination of hospitalization, post hospitalization contact, and aftercare.
- Meets with students and/or stakeholders referred to the CCR.
- Serve as counselor on stand-by for university post-vention or mental health crisis events
- Participates in clinical supervision and consultation/case conference.
- Produces timely documentation for cases within the electronic record keeping system.
- Provides analytics and data points to the department as needed.
- Assists in chart audits to ensure consistency in processes.
- Initiates the care and support survey and appointment reminders to students.
- Requires a master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services Field, Marriage & Family Therapy.
- Licensed or pre-licensed in a mental health field e.g. LPC, LMFT, LCSW, Psychologist.
- Experience providing services to a college population.
- Experience working with diverse populations and demonstrated competency in service delivery and advocacy for diverse populations.

The Center for Care & Resilience (CCR) within the Division of Student Life invites applications for the position of Intake & Crisis Clinician.
This key member of the CCR team is responsible for the delivery of clinical mental health intake and crisis services in a manner that ensures quality, effective care that aligns with professional and ethical practices.
The mission of the Center for Care & Resilience (CCR) is to partner with students in need of support, guidance, or other intervention and connect them with the resources they need to be successful.
The CCR provides strengths-based, inclusive, holistic services, consultation, and education to members of the UT community. CCR works to promote individual students' well-being and success and encourages wellness and personal safety.

The salary for this position, University Market Range 10, is commensurate with experience and other qualifications and is accompanied by a standard university benefits package.
This is an exempt, 12-month, full-time, primarily Monday through Friday first shift, non-tenure track staff position.Application Process:
