    Customer Service Representative

    Job Location: St. Louis, Missouri

    Starting Pay: $16.50/hr; opportunity for increase to $17/hr once training is complete

    Job Type: Full Time

    Shift: Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm

    Work Environment: Onsite

    (Once training is fully complete you will be added to the work from home schedule if you wished to participate.)

    Job Summary:

    A customer service representative will act as a liaison, provide product/services information, and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. Customer service representatives can problem-solve, troubleshoot, and investigate if they don't have enough information to resolve customer complaints. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction. The ideal individuals are customer-oriented and genuinely excited to help customers. They're patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative.

    What Will Your Job Look Like?
    • Accurately process customer's orders/correspondence by telephone, email, and online chat.
    • Process purchase orders and expedite orders.
    • Quote price and availability for standard parts
    • Process formal quotes for special products.
    • Assist customers with questions regarding their order, quote, or products.
    • Manage large amounts of incoming calls
    • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction.
    • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
    • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
    • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
    • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
    • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
    • Determining the quickest, most effective ways to answer a client's or customer's questions
    • Escalating queries and concerns
    • Troubleshooting common issues with a product or service
    • Working with a team of CSRs and other departments to find appropriate solutions
    All You Need Is...
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 2 Years' experience as a Customer Service Representative or related experience
    • Strong computer skills Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
    • Excellent grammar, spelling, oral and written professional communication skills.
    • Possess problem-solving skills.
    • Must have a friendly, upbeat personality and a desire to please customers.
    Even Better If You Have...
    • Knowledge of manufacturing is a plus.
    • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
    • The ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment is preferred.
    • Experience with Zendesk or other ticketing system
    • Experience with VOIP phone system
    Physical Requirements:
    • Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Repetitive Motions
    • Close visual acuity
    • Subject to noise, hazards, and oils if you visit production.
