    Senior Project Manager

    Frazier Industrial Company, a top player in the Material Handling industry specializing in structural steel storage racking, is in search of a Senior Project Manager.

    The Role

    This position, based in Bakersfield, CA, involves coordinating various projects to ensure optimal utilization of company resources. The selected individual will oversee projects ranging from $1,000,000 to $10,000,000. Responsibilities include compiling project status reports, managing project schedules, conducting weekly meetings, and addressing technical challenges. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for project requirements and customer needs. Familiarity with material handling and warehouse practices is crucial. The Senior Project Manager will report to the Director of Project Management.

    Required Skills

    • Strong communication skills are essential.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, averaging 30-40 projects annually.
    • Occasional national travel may be necessary to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
    • A minimum of 10 years' experience in large project construction and management is required, with preference for General Construction expertise and familiarity with Material Handling operations.
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management is a must.
    • Creativity, adaptability, and customer retention skills are key.
    • Interpersonal skills are vital for effective collaboration with project counterparts.
