    Description
    Our team, supporting Military Sealift Command (MSC) in Chesapeake, VA, is sourcing for an Asset Management Lead to oversee tracking, inventorying, and reconciling computer assets that comprise and support MSC's shipboard networks

    Primary responsibilities include the following:

    • Direct supervision of StratasCorp's Asset Management team
    • Scheduling shipboard audits to comply with yearly contractual requirements and oversight of each engagement to ensure all assets are accounted for via inventory and/or required disposition forms
    • Ensuring MSC's asset tracking systems (MARD and CMLS) are up to date and accurate
    • Compiling and delivering quarterly and yearly inventory reports that are 100% accurate to provide status on all MSC IT assets Job Requirements
    • Most possess current IAT II-compliant security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD M
    • Must have or be able to get within 6 months of hire, an appropriate Computing Environment or vendor certification for associated communications equipment being supported in accordance with IAWF DoD M
    • Must have 5 years or more of relevant IT experience
    • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
