Description
Under the direction of a Principal or the Director of Pupil Services, plans and implements activities for pupils identified with speech, hearing or language deficits.
- Administers and interprets appropriate speech and language tests. - Designs individualized programs addressing form, content and function of language and speech. - Monitors individual pupil behavior programs. - Provide individual/group therapy for students as specified in the IEP, in consultation with staff. - Work cooperatively with students, staff, parents, support staff, district personnel and other agencies. We require a valid California Clinical or Rehabilitation Credential with an authorization in Speech, Language and Hearing.Qualified candidates may also hold a masters degree in Communicative Disorders and a valid license issued by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board.
