Galena Lodge is an incredible place to live and work. We are located 23 miles north of Ketchum Idaho in the middle of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area with 40+ miles of mountain biking and hiking trails out our doorstep. We are a beloved community-owned lodge serving many local customers as well as tourists. At Galena, your coworkers will quickly become your "Galena Family" and you will work hard and play even harder after work whether you are mountain biking, backpacking, flyfishing, paddleboarding, going to trivia in town or just enjoying a good book in a hammock.

As a Galena Youth Mountain Bike Camp Counselor, you will work with one other counselor to lead twelve 8-12 year old campers in a week of mountain biking (with a few other fun outdoor activities thrown in). You will be working on mountain bike skills and drills, riding single track, enjoying lake day at Petit Lake, biking the Quigley pump track and small jump lines, and so much more. Camp runs M-F from about 9:00 - 4:00.

Housing: Possibility of free room and board provided in shared yurt. We have a commercial kitchen full of delicious food that you are welcome to eat and cook after hours.

Dates: Camp runs for four weeks from July 22nd - August 16th with a few days of training and clean up between/after.

Requirements: Wilderness First Responder or Wilderness First Aid, clean driving record, background check, ability to mountain bike
