    Ultimate Staffing is working with a Commercial Real Estate company located in Fort Worth, TX seeking a Building Engineer

    The Building Engineer reports to the Chief Engineer and is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all building systems and equipment with minimal supervisory assistance.

    • Carry out technical and general maintenance tasks on building machinery and systems
    • Provide rapid and professional response to tenants and management
    • Assist on calls and service requests for repairs in tenant spaces and building systems
    • Must have detailed knowledge to perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) on all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
    • Operate, maintain, diagnose, and repair building HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and HVAC equipment
    • Maintain up-to-date files of building plans, equipment specifications, and all maintenance logs
    • Must be able to work overtime when necessary

    Requirements

    • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required
    • 3-7 years of experience in a trade or vocational schooling
    • Must be tech savvy- able to navigate multiple systems
    • Knowledge and compliance with all City codes, renewing permits, scheduling inspections
    • Knowledge of Trane HVAC System
    • Must be able to occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds without assistance
