    POSITION SUMMARY:


    The suitable candidate for this position will need to be able to interpret and implement complex financial and accounting concepts or techniques for financial planning and control including budgeting and forecasting.

    Specific duties include analyzing results, preparation of financial analysis, consolidation and providing insight on expenditure. In addition, be able to assist in the allocation of IT expenditure globally and queries that may result. It is expected that there will be adhoc reporting. This person must be able to work remotely supervised. This post does require a high degree of knowledge of accounting regulations.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    Plan and coordinate with all domestic and international finance teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
    Develop and understand the relationships between GIS and its partners, providing assistance where necessary.
    Consolidate actual results for domestic offices on a monthly basis, including the preparation of journal entries and accruals.
    Prepare financial reports for all levels of management as needed.
    Summarize/reconcile expenditure including fixed assets.
    Prepare audit work papers as needed.
    Ensure accurate and timely account reconciliation and monthly/ quarterly financial reports for senior management.
    EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSBA in Accounting; advanced degree and/or CPA preferred or equivalent experience.
    Minimum of 5 years related experience performing corporate financial consolidation involving both domestic and international entities.


    SALARY RANGE:
    The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employees/applicants background, pertinent experience, and qualifications
