    Senior Business Analyst

    What does a successful Business Analyst do?

    They will drive requirements gathering sessions in project meetings with the client and work with cross-functional client stakeholders to complete application requirements and scoping. This is a key role focused on championing and establishing product requirements and ensuring that the organization is prepared for new products and product launches. As a Business Analyst on this team, you will interact with Team Leadership as well as multiple Subject Matter Experts and technical teams to draw out business requirements, create and functional and design documents, and prepare all necessary User Interface designs (wireframes).

    What will you do?

    • Formulate and define Business Requirements & Use Cases.
    • Create collateral such as reference docs, user guides, etc. in support of the products and solutions.
    • Document functional requirements and determine complexity of work for applicable projects.
    • Work with Solutions Consultants and Solutions Architects to create proposal documents and requirements templates.
    • Provide analysis to resolve production issues Support and/or perform User Acceptance Test (UAT).
    • Participate in product demos and requirements process.
    • Participate in Agile development activities such as stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint retrospective, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration; serve as Scrum Master.
    • Gather and document requirements and high-level estimates for defect fixes and enhancements.
    • Work closely with Technical, QA and Business Teams in explaining the requirements and provide functional guidance/answers.
    • Preliminary functional testing Prepare Help/Support Documentation for new features/fixes.
    • Use JIRA to manage Sprints – create Stories, coordinate with the Scrum Team to assign/update tasks Participate & Contribute in functional framework discussions.

    What Will You Need To Have

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science/information systems or equivalent professional work experience.
    • Experience conducting preliminary analysis and estimations for new product feature requests.
    • Experience in writing requirement documents for application development.

    What Would Be Great To Have

    • 3-5 years Financial Institution experience.
    • Power BI or other analytic tools and dashboard exp.
    • 3 to 5 years of business experience within the Banking and/or Credit Union industries...specifically in the areas of Deposit Products, Deposit Transaction Processing, and Lending.
    • Familiarity with working in Agile.
    • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Process including agile methodologies.
    • Ability to write high quality requirements that are easily consumable by the application team.
    • Familiarity in writing test plans and software testing.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as this position requires extensive communication between technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Must be self-directed and highly motivated with the ability to work independently as well as with a team.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
    • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.

    This is an onsite position at our Berkeley Heights office. You can look forward to working Monday-Thursday onsite with Friday as a flex day remote or onsite after a new hires first 90 days.

    This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, New York or Washington.
