    Description

    Vanguard Renewables is looking for Plant Operators in the Renewable Energy field

    Vanguard Renewables stands out as a top anaerobic digester developer/owner/operator across the United States. Their innovative anaerobic digestion process transforms organic waste and cow manure into clean electricity or sustainable natural gas, along with other valuable by-products.

    Location: Greeley Area. Including Eaton, Pierce, and Ault, CO.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Follow and be knowledgeable about the company's safety program
    • Perform General Mechanical Duties, such as valve replacement and minor repairs
    • Assist outside contractors with maintenance activities
    • Monitor gas production in anaerobic digesters
    • Conduct daily equipment checks and record operational parameters
    • Operate plant equipment in accordance with guidelines
    • Participate in preventative maintenance activities

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Must have a valid driver's license
    • Capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs
    • Experience in industrial or gas processing preferred
    • Background in safety procedures required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Ability to adapt to changes quickly
    • Understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings
    • Proficiency in analyzing data and making recommendations
    • Basic computer skills with Windows-based applications

    Working Conditions:

    • Varied work environments including industrial settings, indoors, and outdoors
    • Limited exposure to hazardous materials with the use of protective gear
    • Expectations of exposure to heat, noise, and other industrial conditions
