Treatment Coordinator


Reports to:
Practice Managers


Duties include:
Deliver a distinctive patient experience with every patient both in person and over the phone
Answer calls, and schedule new and existing patients for dental treatment

Welcome patients into the office upon arrival, gathering necessary information such as patient demographics, insurance information, and updated health history.

Maintain a clean and welcoming patient waiting area
Collect patient payments and post them to their patient ledger
Update necessary documents into patient chart
Outbound calls to patients for confirming upcoming appointments
Additional duties as needed such as assisting with laundry, taking out the trash, refilling supplies in restrooms, and any other necessary tasks in our office
Gives accurate and correct pricing based on treatment plan recommendations.
Helps to fill the schedule when needed by communicating
Ensures accurate charting and insurance information has been entered in correctly
Answers any questions patient might have regarding treatment
Attend all staff meetings, front office meetings, and daily huddles.
Representing the practice in a positive way inside and outside of the office.


Requirements:
At least 1 year of treatment coordinating experience is required
be self-motivated, organized, and have a positive attitude
possess great understanding of dental terminology
have excellent communication and written skills
have excellent public relations skills
work well with patients and team
be experienced in delivering high-level customer service
Committed to the position arriving on time daily and staying late as needed.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
