    DIRECTOR, HUMAN RESOURCES

    The Director of Human Resources (HR) is responsible for providing HR support to Corcept leadership and all employees. Responsibilities include strategic organization design, change management, employee relations, supporting Corcept's learning and development initiatives, and a broad spectrum of HR responsibilities to support the growing business. This role will have opportunities to be involved in compensation, HRIS improvements and other HR focus areas.

    Responsibilities:

    • Corcept's HRBP support model includes the role traditionally done by HRBP as well as other HR specialized functions to support Executive Team members and their teams
    • Work with Sr Director on executing Corcept's Learning and Development plan including design, delivery and assessment
    • Ensure employee population is aware of and participating in HR initiatives including but not limited to the company's performance management process
    • Recommend, develop and implement Human Resources policies and ensure compliance with all U.S. EEO, employment, benefits, and wage-hour laws
    • Facilitate conflict resolution and handle employee relations as well as termination issues

    Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Technical Proficiencies:

    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including: listening, coaching, & training
    • Strong leadership, project management & time management skills
    • Ability to develop strong relationships and work with senior level executives
    • Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
    • Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    Preferred Education and Experience:

    • BA or higher
    • Minimum 10 years Human Resources management experience
    • Experience developing, implementing and administering HR programs in an HRBP role or as part of an HR specialization.

    For Headquarters role:

    "The pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this headquarters-based position is $227,000 - $267,100; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on legitimate considerations, including geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education."
