SENIOR FULL-STACK DEVELOPER

Overview:

GrowGeneration is one of the largest retailers of hydroponic products in the United States and is engaged in the business of marketing and distributing horticultural, organics, lighting, and hydroponic products, including lighting fixtures, nutrients, seeds and growing media, systems, trays, fans, filters, humidifiers and dehumidifiers, timers, instruments, water pumps, irrigation supplies and hand tools.

Purpose of Position:

Effectively manages the front-end, back-end, database, and debugging of GrowGeneration's web applications, website, and eCommerce platforms, with emphasis on Magento development.

Enhances user experience and overall functionality by utilizing a holistic approach and possessing a deep understanding of UX/UI design, while upholding the comprehensive integrity of system layout, function, and operation.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Initiate the design and creation of front-end and back-end scalable software
Develop directly in Magento/
PHP, including technical design, coding, testing, and support
Partner with cross-functional teams to redesign and continually update the eCommerce platform
Ensure cross-platform optimization between Magento eCommerce site and third-party applications
Collaborate with Marketing and IT operations to encourage DevOps innovation
Oversee testing and evaluate the development process to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
Oversee additional website projects and other divisional client-facing platforms
Assess and maintain the health of necessary systems following deployment
Design and expand API integrations and version control systems
Perform patches, provide modifications, and recommend updates for currently developed programs
Contribute to a culture of quality and operational excellence
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Local to Denver Metro area with willingness to be in office at least three (3) days/week
10+ years' experience in full-stack software development
Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, or a related field
Experience with eCommerce platforms; Magento 2 developer certification preferred
Fluent in multiple front-end languages and libraries (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Ruby)
Expert knowledge of multiple back-end languages (
PHP, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks
Strong familiarity with UX/UI, servers, databases (My
SQL), and common stacks (LAMP)
Excellent written, verbal, and virtual communication skills
Committed attention to detail and unique problem-solving skills
