Forklift Operator
Pay Rate/Range: $21.74
Hours: 3rd shift - 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Location: Northampton, M
Duration: 7 months
Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate electric-powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices.
• Adhere to SOPs and cGMPs in all operations.
• Position and transport loads to designated areas using forklift or lifting platform.
• Unload and stack materials as required.
• Replenish shelves throughout the facility based on product numbers and locations.
• Inventory materials and maintain stock levels.
• Load/unload materials onto pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Document information according to SOPs.
• Comply with safety rules, SOPs, and cGMPs guidelines.
• Cross-train and learn job functions in other departments as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; preferred but not mandatory.
• One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be licensed to operate lift equipment (licensing may be through internal or external training).
• Experience operating High Reach Forklift equipment preferred; training and certification provided in-house.
• Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic proficiency in written correspondence and mathematical skills.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in basic English.
• Willingness and capability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work in an environment exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens.

Physical Demands:

• Standing for extended periods.
• Reaching, talking, hearing, walking, kneeling.
• Regularly lifting up to 50lbs; occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 70lbs with assistance.
• Maneuvering pallet jacks with loads up to 1200 lbs.
• Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
