    Area Director, Business Development – Lab Diagnostics (NY & New England)

    Compensation: A competitive salary range of $175,000-$195,000, plus commissions, reflective of skills, experience, and market norms.

    Location: Field-based roles within the New England or Upstate New York areas.

    Essential Responsibilities and Team Dynamics:

    • Spearhead the development and execution of the subdivisional commercial strategy, ensuring it is in harmony with the overarching divisional goals for growth and leadership within the industry.
    • Cultivate a culture of teamwork, ensuring unity across diverse sales environments including clinical, hospital and health system, specialty, VBC, etc.
    • Guide sales managers in fulfilling regional business objectives through strategic direction and leadership, fostering an environment of growth and client retention.
    • Act as a beacon of thought leadership, offering insights on market trends and intelligence to inform commercial strategies daily.
    • Leverage existing relationships and form strategic alliances to amplify business opportunities.
    • Embed a culture that prioritizes data analysis through analytics, dashboards, and KPIs to reveal sales trends and actionable insights.
    • Instill a sense of accountability and high performance, fostering an inclusive environment through purposeful leadership.
    • Recruit and nurture sales talent, ensuring alignment with our client's values of leadership excellence and developmental competencies.
    • Collaborate with operational leaders to integrate and sustain new client relationships, ensuring top-tier client satisfaction and operational effectiveness.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • A minimum of 7 years in clinical diagnostics, life sciences, or healthcare sectors.
    • At least 5 years experience in a sales leadership role, managing teams to success.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in engaging with C-suite executives of large institutions.
    • Experience with financial planning and budget management.
    • Adept at complex customer interactions and presentations.
    • Well-versed in Health Systems, Managed Care, Value Based Care, and FQHCs.
    • Proven problem-solving capabilities.
    • Strong partnership and collaboration skills within a matrix organization to fulfill client needs.
