- Development and implementation of a comprehensive program plan, integrating educational milestones and professional activities
- Conduct of the program, including rotation of residents to ensure advancement according with educational plan
- Annual review and assessment of the program to ensure quality and efficacy
- Selection of candidates for admission, performance assessments, and career planning for residents
- Supervision and evaluation of faculty and staff, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and program policies
- Gathering and reporting complete and accurate information as requested by the accrediting, licensure, certification and funding agencies
- Responsible for direct supervision of dental residents and dental faculty
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills - ability to communicate effectively with both practitioners and administration
- Proficient in general dental practice and medical terminology
- Superior managerial skills for supervising and evaluating resident performance
- Valid license to practice dentistry in the state of Florida
- Graduation from an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) or General Practice Residency (GPR) program is REQUIRED
- DEA certificate
- Up to 199 hours of PTO in your first year (unused annual PTO rolls over)

General Description:
The Dental Residency Program Director is responsible for the development, oversight, and coordination of the Dental Residency Program. This pivotal role involves ensuring that our dental residents receive the highest standard of training and mentorship.
