    Gala is seeking a versatile individual to join our team as a Property Manager/Office Manager. This role will primarily involve managing our properties and ensuring their smooth operation while assisting in office operations as needed. A successful candidate will be proactive, possess sound judgment, be impeccably reliable, be well organized, be able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and have a strong work ethic.

    You must prioritize and communicate effectively, pay close attention to detail, and maintain a professional demeanor. Flexibility, accountability, excellent interpersonal skills, high collaboration, and the ability to work well with all internal management and vendor levels are required. This person must have a "no job is too big or too small" attitude and truly understand that the team is the glue that holds everything together and is critical to a successful company.

    Standard Hours: Fulltime Mon-Fri from 8 am-5 pm (some flexibility is appreciated)

    Responsibilities

    Property Management

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned properties, including maintenance, repairs coordination, and tenant relations.
    • Coordinate leasing activities, from marketing vacant units to screening prospective tenants, facilitating lease agreements, and rent collection.
    • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
    • Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
    • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for property services.
    • Monitor property budgets and expenses, aiming for cost efficiency and profitability.
    • Implement property improvement projects as needed to enhance value and tenant satisfaction.
    • Stay updated on local market trends, regulations, and best practices in property management.

    Office Management

    • Assist with planning and implementation of company-related events and travel arrangements for team members.
    • Assist in organizing company events and gatherings.
    • Assist with office-related requests and inquiries, including lunch orders
    • Ensure our break rooms and conference room facilities are properly maintained
    • Assist with vendors and coordination of any building-related maintenance or repairs
    • Manage company travel
    • Oversee partner visits
    • Assist as a culture champion and ensure we foster a great work environment with high employee satisfaction.
    • Conduct office-related errands
    • Assist in other administrative and project-oriented tasks as assigned by your manager.
    Essential Skills and Qualifications
    • 10+ years prior experience in property management or real estate is required
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
    • Proficiency in MS Office and property management software (e.g., AppFolio, Yardi, etc.)
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and adapt to changing priorities
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work activities
    • Knowledge of relevant legal regulations and industry standards in property management
    • Must have excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills
    • Ability to treat sensitive/confidential information with appropriate discretion
    • Attention to detail, incredible follow-up, and organizational skills
    • Must be comfortable interacting with individuals of all professional levels
    • Experience booking executive and group travel
    • Ability to assist with office moves and lift a minimum of 30lbs
    • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    Nice-to-Have Skills and Qualifications
    • Previous experience working in software development, games development, or other entertainment/creative industry-related role
    • Experience in hospitality or production-related field
