    Description

    Performance Standards
    1. Implement the decisions of your immediate supervisor or managers within your chain of command.
    2. Provide a positive role model for the client's at all times through appearance, attitude, and behavior.
    3. Represent the clients in a positive and professional manner in internal and external meetings.
    4. Exhibit sensitivity to the clients' cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
    5. Attend all in-services, General Staff Meetings, and meetings called by their supervisor.
    6. Work harmoniously and effectively with co-workers.
    7. Accomplish objectives and consistently produce satisfactory work.
    8. Is faithful in reporting to work, staying on the job, and helping to meet institutional emergencies.
    9. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
    10. Comply with Organizations and Personnel Guidelines, department guidelines, and all expectations set by Gibault's administration.
    11. Coordinate and develop ongoing in-service training for staff in cooperation with the Residential Manager.
    12. Plan and prepare programming and daily activities to meet the needs of the youth.
    13. Provide leadership and direction to staff on client programming.
    14. Ensure the programs compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies as pertains to youth treatment.
    15. Provide updates regarding youth's progress during regular contact with parents and placing agencies.
    16. Attend scheduled court hearings, team meetings, case conferences, and aftercare planning with case recommendations.
    17. Ensure that service delivery is performed according to the organization's mission, policies and procedures, and service philosophy, while serving as liaison between treatment team and all providers.
    18. Help guide and support staff by enhancing their ability to perform their job responsibilities by teaching and modeling technical knowledge and skills, work management and communication skills, and conflict management.
    19. Take regular inventory of own emotional well-being. Develop and adhere to a self-care plan to promote wellness and prevent burnout.
    20. Perform all other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications
    • At least 21 years of age.
    • Possession of a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
    • Submit to and pass required background checks.
