Essential Functions
We seek candidates for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the area of Social Psychology.
This hire will have access to a newly renovated lab space with several computer stations, workspace for research assistants, and lab meeting space.
The successful candidate is expected to maintain an active research program involving both undergraduate and graduate students. Further, the candidate will be encouraged to seek grant support for his/her/their research.
The faculty member will teach three courses in the spring and fall semester (18 credits per year), such as research methods, statistics, and theory courses related to one's expertise in our BA and MA programs.

UT Permian Basin is one of seven academic institutions in the University of Texas System; there are also six health science institutions in the UT System.
Required Application Materials
Generally, the normal work hours for the university are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 - 5:30 pm; Friday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm with a one-hour lunch.
The individual holding this position may need to be available early morning, evening, and on weekends to meet the needs of the department.
