    Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

    for a long-term locum tenens assignment in

    Pasco, Washington

    beginning

    April 20, 2026 .


    This is a startup coverage model with significant shift needs and the opportunity to help stabilize and support an evolving hospitalist program.

    Contract Length:
    6+ months

    Coverage Need:
    Up to 30 shifts per month

    Shift:
    7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Day shifts only)
    No Night Call Required

    EMR:
    Meditech
    Temporary Privileges Available

    (approx. 60 days)
    Practice Setting

    35-bed hospital
    6-bed Open ICU
    12 hours of MD daytime coverage
    10 hours of APC daytime coverage
    Telemedicine support overnight
    Average daytime census per provider: 26

    Average admissions per day: 4

    Average night admissions: 1

    No intensivists on-site
    This is a collaborative hospitalist environment with physician partnership and telehealth support in place.

    Candidate Requirements

    Active Washington State license (required prior to submission)
    Board Certified NP (NCCNP) or PA (NCCPA)
    ACLS & BLS required
    Hospitalist experience strongly preferred
    Comfortable working in an Open ICU model

    The facility will not process credentialing with a pending license — an active WA license is required prior to submission.

    Potential cross-credentialing at a nearby Washington facility may be required.
