- Assist the Plant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the anaerobic digestion facility
- Ensure that the plant operates in compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with the Plant Manager to optimize the renewable natural gas production process
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement strategies to maximize production efficiency
- Assist in coordinating maintenance and repair activities to ensure the facility's equipment and machinery are in good working conditions
- Provide technical guidance to operators and technicians
- Assist operators with maintenance activities as needed
- Help develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
- Provide guidance and support to plant staff, including operators and technicians
- Assist in training new employees and developing operators and technicians
- Ensure adherence to safety and operational protocols
- Participate in hiring & promoting direct reports
- Work closely with the Plant Manager to enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all employees
- Stay updated on environmental regulations and ensure compliance
- Assist in maintaining accurate records, logs, and reports related to plant operations
- Provide regular reports to the Plant Manager on plant performance
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Technical experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience (gas purification/gas processing)
- RNG, Anaerobic Digestion, or Natural Gas Industry
- I&C / PLC experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment
