- Handle a case load based on claim complexity
- Investigate loss, determine coverage, manage litigation, assess damages, negotiate settlements, identify fraud, utilize authorized vendors
- Ensure compliance with state statutes, client guidelines, and best practices
- Attend conferences, client meetings, mentor other adjusters, support management
- Adhere to company claim metrics
- Comply with state statutes, NARS and Client Claims Handling Guidelines and NARS Best Practices
- Other assigned duties including potential travel
- College degree preferred
- Experience with property litigation
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of commercial property claim adjusting experience
- Must possess or obtain adjuster's license in multiple states
- Interpersonal skills for sensitive and confidential situations
- Customer service oriented
- Strong negotiation and litigation skills
- Ability to work independently
- Organization and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to respond to auditors, clients, and potential clients during presentations
- Requires long periods of sitting
- Willingness to attend local NARS office meetings occasionally
- Work indoors in controlled conditions
- May require lifting up to 20 pounds
- Regular use of keyboard, mouse, computer, and exposure to screens

The base salary for Sr. Commercial Property Claims Adjuster position is $57,000 - $95,200. An annual performance raise is possible. Final salary based on location, skills, education, and experience. Pay equality and team internal equality are considered. Hiring at maximum of the range not typical to allow for future salary growth. Generous compensation and benefits package offered.
