    Insurance Loss Control Field Representative at Alexander & Schmidt

    About the Role

    As an Insurance Loss Control Field Representative at Alexander & Schmidt, you'll be responsible for conducting on-site property, general liability, and auto inspections. Your main task will involve preparing detailed reports that will be used by insurance companies for underwriting purposes. These reports play a crucial role in ensuring commercial and residential properties are adequately insured when initiating a new policy or renewing an existing one.

    Key Requirements
    • **3 - 5 years' experience** with a commercial carrier or as an independent contractor providing loss control services
    • Knowledge of commercial property and casualty lines such as property, general liability, auto, and workers' compensation
    • Strong **communication skills** with a focus on writing, organization, and computer proficiency
    • Effective **time management** abilities
    • Willingness to travel within a defined territory, typically within a **60-mile radius**
    • Professional certifications such as **CSP, OHST, ALCM, and/or ARM** would be advantageous but not mandatory
    • Experience in **uploading reports, photos, and diagrams** through designated platforms or web-based systems
    **High-quality and precise loss control surveys** play a vital role in assisting underwriters in selecting viable business prospects, while also helping policyholders mitigate losses through the recognized value of loss control services.
