    Description

    Purpose Statement :

    The primary purpose of this position is to support the company business operations through data review, analysis and evaluation of business systems and user needs.

    Propose and document the needs and solutions for large and highly complex business areas.

    Prepare functional specifications and business requirement documents, as well as steps required to develop or modify computer programs All tasks related to this position are to be done in a manner consistent with VBO policies, procedures, quality standards, customer needs and applicable local, state and federal regulations.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    Analyzes data to identify and communicate trends to Managers and Clients.

    Demonstrates extensive knowledge and skills in SQL Server relational databases, including the ability to update and maintain databases, as well as create tables, views, and procedures using SSMS T-SQL scripting.

    Demonstrates extensive knowledge and skills in Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tools, including PowerBI, Tableau, etc.

    Interprets end user requests and creates meaningful Ad Hoc reports Provides Pre-Project Revenue analysis with prompt turnaround for potential clients Organizes large volumes of data to effectively meet critical deadlines Communicates and effectively translates requirements from healthcare business office professionals to technical developers Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts, and generates easily understandable reports Takes initiative when evaluating open-ended requests and shows desire to solve problems Maintains multiple client and internal requests concurrently Demonstrates expert knowledge in Google Suite and MS Office Suite with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint, including expertise in charts, formulas, pivot tables, etc.

    Scrubs raw files for pertinent information, and imports data to database tables Manages protected health information (PHI) daily without compromising security and integrity Participates in educational programs to stay abreast of industry trends and changes in technology Consistently meets or exceeds all established department standards including quality, attendance, and deadlines Possesses ability to professionally communicate (in all forms) with clients via e-mail, telephone, in-person, etc.

    Attends team and office meetings and scheduled events as required Possesses a cooperative and positive attitude toward clients, management, and co-workers by responding politely and professionally and being a valued team player Adheres to the HIPAA privacy and security regulations Accepts change with a positive attitude Performs other duties as assigned


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education / Experience :
    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Accounting or related field A minimum of 3 years of combined training and professional experience working with data visualization software such as Power BI or Tableau A minimum of 3 years of combined training and professional experience working with relational databases including SQL Expert knowledge of MS Office suite, especially Access, PowerPoint, and Excel Possess organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects with strict deadlines simultaneously Must have the ability to troubleshoot difficult situations and figure out a reasonable resolution Ability to pay attention to details and "think outside the box" Self-starter, proactive and ability to maintain focus with minimal supervision Basic accounting and statistics knowledge preferred Strong written and oral communication skills Proficient in computer and internet usage Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships that will foster teamwork
