JOB SUMMARY: The primary purpose of the Staff Support position is to provide general suppmt to NMELC staff as needed on operations, programmatic work, and client/community engagement. Because this position includes a vatiety of responsibilities, it requires a high degree of flexibility, working independently and as part of a team, great initiative, ensuring work is completed on a timely basis, and great attention to detail. The Staff Support position is expected to contribute to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment consistent with NMELC's deep commitment to equity.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social Media:
o Create visually appealing and engaging social media graphics to promote NMELC's initiatives and events.
o Grow social media presence and create consistent video content
Donor Info1mation:
o Review and organize donor information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Event Support:
o Help plan and execute organization events, providing on-site support as needed.
Donor Relations:
o Assist in cultivating positive relationships with donors through effective, personalized communication and supp01t.
Educational Program Development:
o Support the creation of an educational program to communicate key messages and inf01mation about our work and enviromnental justice effectively.
Audience Cultivation:
o Develop strategies to cultivate and expand the organization's audience through various channels.
Community Outreach:
o Actively engage with community members through outreach initiatives, promoting the organization's mission and values.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time. Occasional travel between two NMELC office locations -Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
