    Job Overview

    We are seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses for a high-acuity multidisciplinary critical care unit.

    This unit manages a wide range of complex medical, surgical, cardiac, neuro, pulmonary, and trauma patients using advanced life-support technologies.

    Ideal candidates are confident in fast-paced, technology-heavy ICU environments and comfortable managing high-level critical care patients independently.
    Schedule

    3x12 Hour Night Shift

    7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

    36 hours weekly
    9-week contract
    Midweek starts not permitted
    Unit Details


    This ICU provides care for:
    Neurological & neurosurgical patients
    Medical & surgical critical care
    Pulmonary & cardiology patients
    Cardiothoracic patients
    Trauma population

    Advanced technologies utilized include:
    Ventilators
    Arterial lines
    Central lines & PICC lines
    Pulmonary artery catheters
    Ventriculostomies

    IABP
    Impella
    ECMO/TandemHeart

    CRRT
    BIS monitoring
    Continuous telemetry

    Charting system:
    Cerner (required experience)

    Requirements

    Active RN license (DC or Compact, as applicable)
    Minimum 3 years of ICU experience
    Graduate of accredited RN program
    Cerner experience required
    Must reside 50+ miles from facility

    Highly Desired:

    BSN
    Required Certifications


    BLS

    ACLS

    NIHSS
    Responsibilities

    Continuous hemodynamic monitoring
    Ventilator management
    Titration of vasoactive drips
    Critical care assessment & rapid intervention
    Multidisciplinary collaboration
    Family education and emotional support
    Important Contract Details

    Compliance due Wednesday prior to start
    No midweek starts
    Kronos timekeeping required
    30-minute meal break required unless pre-approved
    Overtime requires written approval
    Travelers may be flexed up to three times during a 13-week period; makeup shifts will be offered.

    Minimum 3 years ICU experience required. Cerner experience required. Must live 50+ miles from facility. Strong experience with advanced critical care equipment including
    IABP, Impella, ECMO, and
    CRRT preferred.
