Job Description



As a Security Officer - Flex Patrol in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at an education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and complete routine rounds and reports. You will provide professional customer service, clear communication, and quick support for students, staff, and visitors. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

    • What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and interior spaces to help to deter unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, and policy violations; report observations per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, alarms, and/or after-hours access requests.
  • Complete required activity logs and incident reports, communicate key information to site contacts, and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.

    • Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1+ year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
