    AquaShield, A Komline Company, is hiring for an Accounting Coordinator to join our growing team The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive support in accounting, administration, and office coordination. This role encompasses handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and employee travel & expense reimbursements, while also coordinating general office functions. The Accounting Coordinator plays a pivotal role in maintaining the efficiency of day-to-day operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and employee travel & expense reimbursements.
    • Research and reconcile vendor and credit card statements, as well as quantity/price discrepancies for purchase order invoices.
    • Follow up with customers regarding aged or outstanding A/R balances.
    • Coordinate general office functions such as greeting visitors, answering the multi-line telephone system, and directing calls and messages appropriately.
    • Conduct credit checks on potential customers, enter new customer information into POS and Sage systems.
    • Deposit customer payments using the bank scanner and send collection notices from the Project Operating System (POS).
    • Monitor the working condition of office equipment and maintain office and break room supplies.
    • Arrange USPS/UPS/FEDEX shipments and handle mail distribution.
    • Coordinate and implement special events such as Company quarterly luncheons and annual gatherings.
    • Maintain professionalism in interactions with customers, guests, and colleagues, while ensuring a positive work environment.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 3+ years of experience working in Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Demonstrates a working knowledge of Financial Software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Exhibits professionalism in interactions with stakeholders and maintains a professional appearance.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
