    Grow your career as a Support Data Engineer with an innovative global bank in Tampa, FL. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week.

Will help provide application support, monitor dashboards, data quality exception reports, investigate and resolve data issues, coordinate resolution of data problems in upstream systems and executing solutions such as data quality reporting as well as automation of data quality monitoring and resolution.     Contract Duration: 6+ Months
    Required Skills & Experience

    • 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
    • Experience in automation, data management, data quality, financial or regulatory reporting.
    • Strong experience with relational and non-relational data stores.
    • Experience using ETL/ELT tools like Ab Initio, Informatica, and DataStage.
    • Experience writing Python.
    • Understand database performance concepts like indices, segmentation, projections, and partitions.
    • Shell scripting in Unix environment.
      What You Will Be Doing
      • Support data warehouse batch and drive continuous optimization and improvement.
      • Identify and implement process improvements: infrastructure that scales, automating manual processes, etc.
      • Take ownership of the various tasks that will allow to maintain high-quality data; ingestion, validation, transformation, enrichment, mapping, storage, etc.
      • Improve observability across the data infrastructure to ensure data quality from raw sources to downstream systems.
      • Collaborate with the teams to deploy and support reliable, scalable tooling for analysis and experimentation.
      • Collaborate with the dev teams to anticipate and support changes to the data.
