    Overview



    AmTrust Financial is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader for the role of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager within the Finance team, focused on supporting Global Technology & Operations (GTO). In this position you will drive financial excellence, overseeing the analysis of expenses, leading cross-functional collaboration, and providing critical insights to senior leadership.



    Responsibilities

      Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual expense reporting.
    • Lead cross-functional collaboration across GTO, business units and other corporate functions to gather relevant data and insights.
    • Develop financial models to forecast and analyze expenses, including KPI tracking and benchmarking.
    • Conduct in-depth variance analysis providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
    • Play a key role in the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational targets.
    • Facilitate project governance including pipeline management, coordinating collection and validation of quantitative/qualitative information, preparing materials and tracking value realization.
    • Prepare ad hoc financial reports/analyses for management.
    • Ensure appropriate allocation of GTO expense to business profit centers.
    • Drive continuous improvement opportunities, identifying cost-savings opportunities and improvements to financial processes.
    • Keep current with industry and functional trends.
    • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior members of the FP&A team.
    • Perform other functionally related duties as assigned.



    Qualifications



    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
    • 7-10 years of experience in FP&A
    • Proficient in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with PowerBI or other business intelligence tools
    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpretive skills; attention to detail.
    • Ability to effectively multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

    Preferred:

    • MBA
    • Program/project management experience
    • Business case (discounted cash flow) modeling experience
    • Understanding of GAAP and Statutory accounting

    The salary range for this role is $130K - $158K per year. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Jersey City, New Jersey.

    Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics. This range may be modified in the future.
