Their key management and technical staff haveover 60 yearsof combined experience – as production managers and food technologists with some of the world's largest food manufacturing companies.

They design and manufacture industrial food processing equipment for a worldwide client base.
About the Role
Asa Senior Electrical Design Engineer,you will reportto the Director of Engineering.

Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for designing solutions that meet the customers' requirements and exceed their expectations.

This is an integral role within the business and will see you partnering with all roles across the engineering and manufacturing teams to:
competently design and prepare the electrical drawings for our equipment with a resourceful and proactive work approach.
Design & preparation of electrical drawings of equipment using E-Plan.

Ensure designs are based on appropriate electrical standards, with consideration of manufacturability, hygienic design, and machine safety, while ensuring a cost-effective outcome.

Complete the design within the allocated time.
Check and verify the electrical drawings are accurate and clear before releasing to manufacture.

Inform production and procurement of design changes as early as possible and ensure they are issued with the latest drawings.

Assist in the assembly & testing of equipment prior to shipment and contribute to test criteria for FAT validation.
Other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements
Able to work autonomously and prioritise duties
Have excellent interpersonal skills, planning, problem-solving and analytical skills
A genuine passion for learning and building a long and successful career.
Friendly and vibrant personality with a willingness to help when needed
Positive attitude and a desire to go above and beyond
Desired Criteria
Knowledge in the Food industry is highly preferable.
Experience in mechanical manufacturing and/or the stainless-steel fabrication industry is highly desirable.
