    Description

    We are looking for a CPSA licensed Cardiologist to provid e clinical care to both outpatients and inpatients within the Department of Cardiac Sciences and across the city - wide Section of Cardiology. The successful candidate will be skilled in the practice of acute care cardiology and have special expertise in Cardiac CT A ngiography and Nuclear Cardiology techniques . The role requires undergraduate and post-graduate teaching of medical students, clerks and cardiology trainees in general cardiology and subspecialty imaging . Educational experience in nuclear cardiovascular techniques and cardiac CT, to aid and support the learning of trainee physicians is an asset . The role will aid in bringing innovations into clinical and academic practice and generating new knowledge that can lead to the development of further new innovations.

    Qualifications:

    Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certified cardiologist.

    The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.

    Must read, write and speak English.

    All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and Permanent Residents will be given priority.
