Montgomery & Associates (M&A) is seeking a full-time hydrogeologist to join their growing team in Phoenix Arizona This position focuses on projects involving environmental investigations lithologic logging water well drilling construction sampling and testing Most work will occur in Arizona with occasional assignments elsewhere Duties will include a combination of field and office work The ratio between field and office tasks may be highly variable based on need
Responsibilities
- Observe document drilling operations including lithologic logging interpretation of borehole geophysical logs Monitor well installation development verify compliance with specifications direct drilling contractors Support well development rehabilitation pump installation procedures Measure water levels download dataloggers collect water soil air samples Install configure troubleshoot repair groundwater surface-water monitoring equipment telemetry systems Conduct pumping slug infiltration other field tests Lead health safety meetings ensure compliance protocols Maintain detailed field notes communicate daily activities project managers clients
