Location: USADEBUSK-Coker Pumping Division 2920 Texas Ave, Bridge City, TX 77611 Position SummaryThe hydro blast technician will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of whole body for handling, positioning, moving and manipulating equipment and materials, emergency response, vacuum truck operations, waste disposal, site remediation and high-pressure water blasting.This is a full-time position with opportunity for overtime. Responsibilities:This positing is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities but constitutes a general definition of the position's scope and function. Operate and set-up all necessary cleaning equipment such as high-pressure pumps, in service line hydro-blasting, and vacuum), in accordance with operational and training and guidelines and safety procedures.
    • Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to personal protective gear.
    • Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and heaving industrial settings.
    • Manually clean, install, fit repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets and all other external and internal equipment on tanks.
    • Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps and general work area prior to starting any job. Informs supervisor of deficiencies, which may cause accidents, injuries or lost productivity.
    Requirements:
    • Valid driver's license or identification card
    • Respond to emergency calls 24 hours, 7 days a week if called upon.
    • Must be able to travel for extended periods of time. Per Diem, Hotel and transportation provided.
    • Ability to work for extended periods of time within a confined space, in extreme temperature environments and at high elevation.
    • Ability to perform duties in accordance with training and standard operating procedures. Ability to understand and follow specific procedures and directions.
    • Ability to lift, move and handle up to 50lbs
    • Must be 18 years of age or older.
    • Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC) or be able to apply and receive one.
    • Must be able to pass drug UA & Hair follicle and never failed a DISA drug Screen in the past and all required background checks.
    • Must be able to pass a physical.
    • Will be exposed to all weather conditions.
    Experience Required:
    • Hydro blasting or pressure cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
    • General labor experience is a plus.
