- Keeping the store and equipment in working order, including cleaning, organizing, and stocking shelves, rotating stock, and labeling items.
- Assisting customers with product questions and locating products in a prompt, friendly, courteous manner and referring them to other staff as necessary.
- Bagging groceries and collecting carts and baskets as needed to keep the Front End traffic to a minimum.
- Monitoring parking lot and maintaining traffic control as needed.
- Assisting in food production and grocery delivery as needed.
- Running errands as needed and assisting other departments as needed.
- Compliance with established City Market procedures and practices regarding operations, sales, safety, and security.
- May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
- One year of retail experience OR 18 months of customer service experience required.
- High School diploma or GED and valid driver's license required.
- Knowledge of natural and conventional foods and the food industry helpful.
