Position Title: Accountant I

Duration: 9-12 months

Location: State College, Pennsylvania

Job Overview:

As an Accounting Contractor at Client HealthCare, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day accounting operations and monthly close process for our North American entities. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring timely collections, invoice processing, and journal entry processing for the monthly close cycle. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of one of the worldwide leaders in medical technology.

Responsibilities:

1. Performs data entry related to accounts payable and accounts receivable

2. Reviews and processes billing transactions

3. Codes invoices to accounts for North America accounts payable

4. Prepares periodic account reconciliations including generating the support for those reconciliations

5. Post cash receipts

6. Book Journals to reflect financial activities (may include some or all of: accruals, fixed assets, accounts receivables, accounts payables, expenses, payroll)

7. Perform general accounting tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, or related field

2+ years of experience in accounting, particularly with accounts payable and accounts receivable

Experience with Microsoft Excel required

Experience with SAP, Infor Visual, and Stampli a plus

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and vendors
