    Insight Global is seeking a Remote Certified Medical Assistant who is Spanish-Speaking to support a healthcare startup client on a 6-mos contract to perm assignment. As a Remote Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our pharmacy call center operations. Your primary responsibility will be to make outbound calls to patients, physicians, and pharmacies. You'll provide essential support, answer inquiries, and assist with medical-related tasks. This position requires strong communication skills, empathy, and a solid understanding of medical terminology.

    Responsibilities:

    • Place outbound calls to patients, physicians, and pharmacies following established protocols.
    • Verify patient information, update records, and schedule appointments as needed.
    • Provide accurate and clear information regarding medications, prescriptions, and medical procedures.
    • Assist patients with questions related to their health, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
    • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
    • Document all interactions accurately in the system.
    • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certification: You must hold a valid CMA certification.
    • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a medical call center or similar role is required.
    • Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and empathetic communication is essential.
    • Medical Terminology: Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of healthcare processes.
    • Computer Literacy: Comfortable using call center software, electronic health records (EHR), and other relevant tools.
    • Time Management: Ability to manage outbound call volume efficiently.
    • Adaptability: Able to adapt to changing protocols and guidelines.
    • Work Ethics: Punctuality, reliability, and commitment to patient care.

    Nice to Have Skills and Experience:

    • Experience working in a pharmacy and pharmacy-related role
