- Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals.
- Document, maintain, and upgrade or replace hardware and software systems.
- Support and maintain user information, including rights, security, and system groups.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose computer hardware and software issues.
- Set up computer networks and assist employees and customers with IT-related problems.
- Set up new EDI from outside customers.
- Troubleshoot current EDI customer bases.
- Set up new VPN and ability to troubleshoot all VPN cases.
- Work with 3rd party IT vendor to troubleshoot problems and set up new employees.
- Work with Global Support to set up all new employee emails and cell phones.
- Set up accounts in customer portals.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined, including all safety and quality policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Associate degree in IT or a bachelor's degree in computer science or networking preferred
- Tisax certification preferred
- 2+ years of Information Technology experience
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
- 10-key by touch
- Experience and ability to set up and troubleshoot EDI with customers
- Experience and ability to set up and troubleshoot VPN
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and listening communication skills
- Creative problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Troubleshooting for copy machines, fax machines, and multiple line phone system
- Normal work schedule is Monday - Friday with a schedule of 8 hours daily; may require weekly overtime as well as limited overtime on the weekends
