Senior Patent Attorney - Ph.D. Biotech - 15+ Years

Our client is a top firm, seeking a senior level Patent Attorney with at least 15 years of experience and a Ph.D. degree in biotechnology. The firm is preferring a candidate in Southern California; however, this position can be fully remote.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of patent prosecution experience focused on biotechnology
• Experience in opinion work, due diligence, and strategic management of patent portfolios
• Ph.D. in molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, immunology, biotechnology
• JD with state bar admission
• Excellent work ethic; solid interpersonal skills
• Postdoc and/or in-house experience helpful [but not required]
• Southern CA location preferred [not required]
• Business development skills helpful [not required]
