Description

Cass Health is currently seeking individuals interested in a nursing career or those already pursuing one to join our registered apprenticeship program as nursing assistants. This unique opportunity combines on-the-job training with traditional classroom work at a neighboring community college.

Participation Requirements:

To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled in or plan to enroll in a nursing program at Iowa Western Community College (IWCC). Key prerequisites include:

A high school diploma or GED

The completion of IWCC pre-requisites by May 2026, which cover Composition 1, Developmental Psychology, Human Anatomy and Physiology I & II

A passing score of 58.7% or higher on the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) Examination by April 1st, 2025

A Certified Nursing Assistant certification
