Inova Health System is in search of a skilled Full-time Cardiovascular (Echo) Sonographer 2 with expertise in Stress Echo, Bubble studies, strain, and IV experience to become part of our team at the Healthplex Lorton facility.

Position Summary:
The Cardiovascular Sonographer 2 delivers excellent patient care following hospital/department guidelines to ensure patient safety. Performs additional tasks to support smooth departmental operations. Upkeeps equipment, exam rooms, and work areas for patient and employee safety.

Full-time
Hours:
Monday - Friday, Days (7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) conducting 7 Studies a day.

Inova Healthplex - Lorton, Virginia
Job Responsibilities:
- Identifies and addresses clinical issues during exams to ensure optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction
- Effectively communicates with ordering/interpreting physicians
- Demonstrates proper techniques for injections and other procedures
- Maintains well-stocked procedure rooms
- Ensures accurate patient identification and order matching
- Stays current with educational requirements and attends QA conferences
- Upholds patient safety measures and equipment maintenance standards
- Cleans and cares for patient equipment as per guidelines
- Troubleshoots and reports equipment issues promptly
- Performs/routinely maintains echo vascular equipment
Requirements for Consideration:
- Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program or equivalent training
- Registry in relevant certifications (e.g., ARDMS, CCI)
- Minimum one year of relevant experience post-registry
- Basic Life Support Certification
