Job Summary and QualificationsThe Burn Medical Surgical RN coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care by the nature and specific requirements of the department. The care is consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care. We use established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers. Our nurses model a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience. Our clinical outcomes contribute to the overall departmental performance.
In collaboration with the patient, the patient's family, and other members of the health care team, the Burn Medical Surgical RN is responsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and coordinating a treatment plan and achieving the goals of the nursing department. You serve as a key position of the interdependent team, and hold responsibility for achieving positive patient and departmental outcomes.
