    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Business Development Manager is dedicated to managing day-to-day activities and securing orders with satisfactory margins from assigned accounts and markets. This includes:

    • Providing quotes that meet customer needs while satisfying margin goals.
    • Educating and working with key accounts to develop relationships and produce immediate and future sales through travel and in-office activities.
    • Recording account and project information into our CRM system.
    • Securing a stronger company position within assigned market territories for immediate and future sales.
    • Executing clean project handoff to post-sale team of successfully closed orders.
    • Monitoring projects after award through submittal and production process to end of warranty period.
    • Maintaining customer relationships beyond warranty period if specific project has potential as demo site.
    • Presenting and developing end-users, engineering firms, mechanical contractors, general contractors, and other groups in assigned markets.
    • Executing assigned projects or divisional goals.

    FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Supporting roles for Sales Representatives and Johnson Sales Engineering Manager.
    • Working as a team to drive toward opportunity and booking goal in assigned markets.
    • Reading and interpreting technical specifications and plans to develop accurate estimates.
    • Applying HVAC unit components according to manufacturer's recommendations and industry standards.
    • Understanding project terms and conditions impacting pricing.
