Job Description

As a Generative AI Solution Architect within Salesforce's Data and Analytics (DnA) team, you'll serve as a crucial link between stakeholders and internal teams, providing expert guidance on architecting, designing, and presenting bespoke solutions tailored to our stakeholders' GenAI needs. Leveraging Salesforce's cutting-edge products and services, you'll play a pivotal role in driving innovation and value creation.

We're on the lookout for a skilled solution architect specializing in Generative AI to join our dynamic DnA team. As a Subject Matter Expert, you'll collaborate closely with Salesforce stakeholders, delving deep into their business and technical challenges. Your role involves delivering insightful consulting and solutioning services, harnessing GenAI and AI technologies to address their unique requirements. Through your engagement, you'll instill confidence in stakeholders, positioning our ML team within DnA as the ideal technology partner for their GenAI endeavors.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate and Consult: Work closely with DnA stakeholders to gain a thorough understanding of their business and technical pain points, offering expert consulting and solutioning services leveraging GenAI/AI and related technologies.
• Application Development: Facilitate the development and deployment of GenAI-powered applications using platforms like SageMaker, contributing to the fine-tuning, evaluation, and construction of Generative AI models.
• Requirements Elicitation: Drive meaningful discussions with stakeholders, extracting technical and functional requirements through stakeholder workshops.
• Solution Translation: Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, collaborating closely with business analysts and other stakeholders.
• Strategic Consulting: Provide strategic solution and technology consulting, identifying opportunities for integrating GenAI/AI-based solutions across various platforms.
• POV Development: Develop detailed point of views outlining scopes, approaches, and business benefits.
• Technical Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert on architectural aspects related to GenAI/AI, guiding and supporting internal teams.
• Model Execution: Lead the execution of production GenAI models to address specific business challenges effectively.
• Mentorship and Collaboration: Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to diverse teams within DnA, fostering collaboration across departments to deliver tailored solutions.
• Pushing the Boundaries: Push the state of the art in evaluation of tool use, code generation, RAG, safety and toxicity evaluation, and model-based evaluation. Design systems to empower customers to build the next generation of evaluations for their custom, domain-specific generative models.
• Stay Updated: Stay updated on the latest tools and techniques in data science, leveraging technological advancements to address the unique needs of DnA stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of experience in software development or a related technical field.
• Strong background in software development, with a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end processes.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, coupled with effective communication abilities.
• Proficiency in developing applications using Generative AI and Large Language Models, utilizing frameworks like Langchain and Llama-Index.
• Hands-on experience in model development, optimization, and deployment of LLMs such as GPT, LLaMA, Mistral, Falcon, BERT, and Transformer-based architectures.
• Expertise in Natural Language Processing, including text representation, language modeling, sequence-to-sequence architectures, and semantic understanding.
• Experience in constructing conversation agents through LLMs and RAG-based applications, with a deep understanding of LLM agentic frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python programming, with familiarity in tools like mlFlow, Airflow, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Proven track record in building software and data products using modern development methodologies, including CI/CD, QA, and Agile.
