    As a Security Officer - Armed Gate Entry Driver in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will greet visitors, verify credentials, manage entry points, and complete routine patrols and reports that help to reduce incidents. This is an armed, driving post, offering a role where clear communication, teamwork, and integrity matter every day in a fast-moving, people-first environment.

    Pay Rate: $21.45 / Hour

    Job Schedule:

    DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

    What You'll Do:

    • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at a government location by following site-specific procedures and access requirements.
    • Control access through screening and verification of identification, credentials, and appointments, and issue visitor passes and/or badges in accordance with post orders.
    • Monitor entry points and security-related systems such as cameras, intercoms, and alarms, and report unusual activity per policy.
    • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
    • Complete detailed reports of access activity, incidents, and shift events, and communicate concerns to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
    • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement and/or military and/or security-related experience or have a college degree.
    • Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
    • Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
    • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
    • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
    • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
    • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
    • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
