    A successful Customer Service Retail Manager not only focuses on making the store profitable but also emphasizes a culture of customer satisfaction and employee engagement. The ability to balance the demands of managing a team, meeting business goals, and maintaining a high standard of customer service is imperative.

      Must be very organized and maintain a system where projects are prioritized and able to be completed in a fast-paced, quick-changing environment.

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Overseeing daily functions, promoting company policies & complying with guidelines.
    • Monitoring sales and General Manager accountability for branch.
    • Regular visits to branch stores.
    • Maintain scorecard with key metrics for each branch.
    • Support and manage all sales groups including Retail/Counter Sales, Inside Sales and Outside Sales.
    • Support CK relationship with outside organizations (MCA, ASA, SMACNA, AWS, etc).
    • Serve on the product committee and other committees as needed.
    • Follow and enforce all safety guidelines and requirements including proper personal protective equipment for employees and visitors.
    • Be on after hours call list for key accounts.
    • Other duties, as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Must have previous welding equipment knowledge and at least 1 year experience performing comparable duties.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Must be able to handle diverse individuals and situations in a professional manner.
    • Proficient in operating office equipment, including but not limited to computer, phone, fax machine, etc.
    • Proficient in basic computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to move and handle merchandise up to 75lbs.
    • Must be able to sit for long periods of time as well as ability to stoop, twist, kneel and bend.
