    • Days: 1:1
    • Nights: 1:1

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong experience in histology (10+ years preferred)
    • ASCP-HT certification
    • Associate's Degree in Science
    -

    Required Skills:

    • Grossing and fixation
    • Frozen Section/tissues
    • Additive fixatives
    • Immunohistochemistry
    • Thin Prep preparation
    -

    Work Experience:

    • Preferred hospital experience
    • Routine Hospital Anatomical Pathology specimens
    -
    Special Procedures/
    Unit Details:

    • Grossing, embedding, microtomy, staining (automated IHC & special stains)
    • Cytology skills including thin prep, cell block, and cytospin
    -

    Patient Age Groups:

    • Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
    -

    Interdisciplinary Support:

    • Collaborate with Phlebotomy and Radiology teams
    -

    Scheduling Type:     Other

    -
    Pre-
    Approved Time Off:     1 Request
    -

    Weekend Shifts:     If covering NOC or PM is Sunday-Thursday
    -
    RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days
